Three things count: distance, the space your goods take up in the truck (in loading metres) and weight. For groupage, we charge on whichever is higher: actual weight or chargeable weight, using the standard rule of 1,750 kg per loading metre. Extras (tail lift, booked delivery, dangerous goods, temperature control) are shown on the quote.

Generally, above 12 to 14 Euro pallets, or once the weight goes over 10 to 12 tonnes, a full truckload works out better than groupage. It is also faster, with no hub and no transhipment.

These countries are outside the EU customs union, so an export declaration on departure and an import declaration on arrival are mandatory. Our partner customs representatives prepare them before the truck leaves. All you need to provide is the commercial invoice and packing list.

The carrier is liable within the limits of the CMR Convention: 8.33 Special Drawing Rights per kilo gross, roughly €10 per kilo. For valuable goods, we offer ad valorem insurance covering their real declared value.

Yes, as long as they are correctly identified, packed and labelled. We check the safety data sheet and ADR paperwork, then assign a certified driver and vehicle.

You get a status update at every stage: collection, departure, border crossing, delivery. If anything goes wrong, we tell you straight away, with a solution. The signed CMR is sent to you within 24 hours.
